| Music in America - NOTE 2nd Thursday as part of Dan Emmett Festival - the Beatles influence on America Expanding on the New Harmonies Smithsonian Exhibit featuring roots music and music evolution in America - this new series will feature different musical styles found in America and discuss, demonstrate and be entertained by them on a donation basis. August 9 (NOTE: 2nd Thursday as part of Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival - NOTE 2: look for mini-Chautauqua's that evening as well) – Desmond Wall and Mike Petee – discuss and demonstrate the impact of the Beatles on American music. |
