Our museum is a non-profit association which houses nineteenth-century artifacts including clothing and photos from area homes. Our hours are 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sundays, during the Tomato Show, all local events, and private showings by appointment.

The Gund Gallery is a visual arts center on Middle Path at Kenyon College. The gallery exists to be a cutting-edge producer of challenging new knowledge about the visual.
Our Mission:
Programs, exhibitions and projects will:
embody liberal education by exercising critical and creative thinking applied to interdisciplinary investigation of the visual relate the historical to the contemporary by linking today’s issues, ideas and innovations with earlier historical moments connect the global to Kenyon (and Kenyon to the global) through valuing diversity and cultural awareness
promote an inclusive definition of art that engages a wide range of visual cultures and visualities create participatory multisensory experiences
The Gund Gallery is a dynamic, 31,000 square-foot space dedicated to expanding ways of seeing and learning. It will enhance Kenyon College’s liberal arts curriculum through provocative exhibitions and collaborative educational opportunities. It will further the cultural conversation on campus. It will prod and challenge to promote better understanding of our world.

Devoted to farm and home lifestyle of the 1800's and early 1900's, the museum houses more than 3,000 items which depict the way our forefathers lived. It is the only museum of its kind in Ohio and began its historic collection in 1984. The museum is open during the fair and by appointment for groups. Tours are free of charge. More >>

The museum represents many aspects of Knox County's history, including industry, arts and entertainment, transportation, and communication. Specific exhibits tell the story of our educational religious, business, military, industrial, financial, social, and cultural institutions. The museum features notable collections of 19th century Cooper farm engines, area post office and telephone history, locally made quilts and coverlets. Memorabilia of comedian Paul Lynde and composer and minstrel Daniel Decatur Emmett are also on display. Open February through mid-December on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday through Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays and major holidays. Tours welcome by appointment. An admission donation is appreciated.
