| 53rd Annual National Waco Antique Airplane Reunion Biplane Fly-In Reunion. Annual Reunion of national Waco biplane owners held in Wynkoop Airport, Mount Vernon, Ohio. Biplanes will be flying and the public is invited. Photographs are allowed, there are no parking or admission charges - it's free. Thursday, June 21st Fly-out to Troy, Ohio – Waco Field (1WF) sponsored by the Waco Historical Society Leave early to spend the morning visiting the WHS museum, which opens at 8am, followed by a short f light to New Carlisle, Ohio (10 min) for a complimentary luncheon sponsored by members Roger James and Ted Teach. 12pm – Lunch, then return to Mount Vernon. 6pm - Corn Boil Dinner at Wynkoop Airport, complimentary for all members and their guests. Schedule (subject to change) Friday, June 22nd Breakfast fly-out to Mt. Victory, Ohio (identifier – O74) Rain date for Troy/New Carlisle fly-out – if needed. Forum at 3:30 pm - Tom Eggert, all about abrasives, their uses and applications. 6pm – Dinner/Dance at Wynkoop Airport for all members and their guests – 15-piece band, pork chop dinner - $25/adult - $15/child (6-12) – under 6 free Saturday, June 23rd 8am – Breakfast at the airport – Provided by the Koop Group 10:30am – Maintenance Forum – Steve Curry, Radial Engines Limited 5:30pm – Seating begins in North Hangar, Wynkoop Airport for Annual Banquet 6:pm – Dinner begins – Full catered dinner - $20/adult - $10/child (6012) - under 6 free Sunday, June 24th 7am – Continental Breakfast (still pending) for those early departures at the airport. |
