The Village of Brinkhaven (formerly known as Gann) situated on the east side of the county, boasts picturesque views of rolling hills along the Mohican State Scenic River. The Mohican State Scenic River is 28 miles, creating a unique wilderness experience, where any paddler or angler can discover unexpected tranquility.

Home to the Bridge of Dreams, a 370-foot covered bridge across the Mohican River valley. The Bridge of Dreams is the second longest covered bridge in the state and the third longest in the country. To best view the bridge, ride or walk across, meet at the trail head 16606 Hunter Road, Brinkhaven, Ohio 43006.

Visitors and trail-users can enjoy the views when they traverse the Mohican Valley Trail. The Mohican Valley Trail trail extends from East Street in Danville to the Holmes County line, connecting the Kokosing Gap Trail and the Holmes County Trail.
