Join the City of Mount Vernon and our Knox County Recycling & Litter Prevention for a Fall Clean Up Day! Knox County residents - This is your chance to responsibly dispose of a wide range of unwanted household items.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Ariel Foundation Park in Mount Vernon, Ohio (10 Pittsburgh Ave Mount Vernon, OH 43050- In front of the Schnormeier Events Center)

Cost: $20 per car, for unlimited loads.

Payment: We accept cash, credit card, or check. If paying by check, please make it payable to the City of Mount Vernon and note "Fall Clean Up" in the memo line.

Who can participate?: This event is open to all Knox County residents, and proof of residency may be required.

Unloading: You are responsible for unloading the items from your vehicle. Volunteers will be on site to assist. All materials must be disposed of by hand; no dumping will be permitted.
