Folk Fest

Celebrate local folk traditions and fall festivities at Gambier Folk Fest! A revival of the original Gambier Folk Festival (1971–1996), this community event returned in 2024 and continues to grow, bringing Kenyon and the surrounding community together through music, crafts, and seasonal fun.

Enjoy live performances by Kenyon bands and music groups, folk dance demonstrations, seasonal crafts, pumpkin painting, children's activities, and fall treats like warm apple cider and pie. This year's festival also hopes to expand its local partnerships by featuring area musicians, bakeries, and farms.

The event will also feature an opportunity to connect with Kenyon's Campus Archaeology program and learn about the Bishop's Cabin excavation project, highlighting the shared history of Kenyon and the greater Knox County community.

All are welcome to join the festivities!
