Adventure #1:
Memorial Park Access & Kokosing Gap Access Cleanup
Spring is coming per the whispers of the trees. We will set out on foot to conquer the litter so carelessly blowing in the breeze. Restoring nature back to the way it's meant be. Our adventure will showcase some of the most delightful views, so bring your camera should you choose. Don't forget to bring your smile. Let's get back into nature, it's been a while.
Join us Saturday March 1st at the Kokosing Gap Landing Access aka Lower Gambier at 9 am. Grab yourself a complimentary coffee and a tasty donut Thanks to Judy and Russ. They're so good, it's defiantly a must! We will hold a short safety meeting and lay out our plan to restore nature from being someone's trash can.
Knox County Parks has once again kindly provided us with a place to properly dispose of the litter. With each piece we pick up, they know we're out here saving the critters. The Knox County Recycling & Litter Prevention along with the Onion Bag Litter Prevention Project have also extended a helping hand. Lending us supplies to clean up the land. Ariel Corporation has graciously joined our Dream Team. Our Golden Owl Sponsor for protecting our rivers and streams.
As the excitement builds in that air, I can't help but wonder, will you be there?
