As the season transitions into warmer weather, we are pleased to announce an exciting option to our Full Moon series of events. In partnership with our friends from the Heart of Ohio Trail, we will co-host a series of Full Moon guided hikes and bike rides, with our first one hosted, Friday, May 1 at 8:00 pm. Participants are requested to gather at the Historic Mill, located at 108 Hartford Avenue. Brandon Schroepfer of the Knox County Park District will lead the hike under the Sturgeon Full Moon excursion while Lucinda Miller and Stacy Smith will lead the bike excursion. Cyclists are required to wear helmets, headlamps, safety lights, and other reflective gear to ensure visibility. Reflective attire is also recommended for hikers. The duration and distance of the hikes and rides will be determined by participant preference. This event is open to adults and children alike. For those without bicycles, More Space at Your Place has two adult Sun Bicycles available for loan free of charge, compliments of the Knox Public Health Get Healthy Knox County initiative. Additional activities will be provided by The Centerburg Public Library, More Space at Your Place, and Get Healthy Knox County. Further details will be announced each week;please mark your calendars for this local event.
