Knox County invites you to experience the totally unexpected, while you experience total totality! On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the Sun.
Knox County is not only a great place to witness this once in a lifetime kind of event, but it's an even better place to stay and explore. Our hotels, BNB's, campgrounds and lodging partners are all ready to welcome you for this exciting weekend.
Ready to experience something totally unexpected? Follow along on this event page as we keep our guests and community updated on what is going on during the weekend, what to expect and how to experience this totality!
