Celebrate Ohio’s rich cinematic legacy with this FREE ticketed Ohio Goes To The Movies screening of the classic musical Bye Bye Birdie, part of more than 250 screenings taking place across the state as part of America 250-Ohio. Highlighting Ohio’s impact on the film industry both in front of and behind the camera, this statewide initiative celebrates storytelling, filmmaking, and Ohio-made talent.

Set in the fictional town of Sweet Apple, Ohio, Bye Bye Birdie captures small-town Midwest charm and features Broadway and film legend Paul Lynde, a Mount Vernon native. The screening is part of Ohio Goes To The Movies, a statewide celebration recognizing Ohio’s lasting influence on American film and entertainment.
