Join us for the completion of the Summer Reading 2025 quilt project with "A Quilt of Many Colors Sewn Together!" This program will be demonstration only Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the Multipurpose Room at the Mount Vernon Branch. Elyce Doerr, Knox County Quilt Guild Member/Instructor and Lisa Blaisdell, Library Office Manager/Sewing Instructor, will be putting the quilt squares, made by patrons during the June Summer Reading Program, together. Stop in between 10 A.M. and 3 P.M. and see the process of putting together and finishing a quilt. Drinks and snacks will be provided. This program is free and open to everyone ages 13+. The Quilt of Many Colors will be raffled off at the Library in August.
