The space

Located just over a mile from the 326-mile Ohio to Erie bicycle trail, which connects cyclists from Cincinnati to Cleveland, our cabin is an ideal overnight stop for riders making the journey. Your host, Chuck DeWitt, is an avid cyclist himself and happy to share local tips. Mohican State Park—visited by 1.5 million people annually—is only 20 minutes away, offering hiking, canoeing, and breathtaking scenery. Just a short drive away, you’ll also find the serene Honey Run Falls, a hidden gem for nature lovers.

If you’re a motorsports fan, the Mid-Ohio racecourse is less than an hour away. History lovers can explore Mansfield Reformatory, where The Shawshank Redemption was filmed, and Malabar Farm, where Hollywood icons Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart tied the knot.

Right down the street, you’ll experience the heart of Amish culture. Walk to Weavers Furniture, where you can browse beautifully handcrafted pieces and stop in the deli for the best homemade pretzels. The entire area is alive with Amish life—children walking to and from the local Amish school, farm animals grazing, and a maple syrup boiler filling the air with the sweetest aroma.
