Hello, I’m Zoey! Join me as I explore the eight fuel stops along the Knox County Coffee Trail. Whether you’re looking for a strong caffeine buzz, a cozy corner or a quick bite, I think the stops along this trail are sure to give you the fresh adventure you’re looking for.
Fuel Stop #1: Wiggin Street Coffee
Take a step off Middle Path and stop by Wiggin Street Coffee in quaint Gambier. When you get inside, make sure to put your things down to snag yourself a table or booth (you never know when the next rush of students and locals is going to hit). Walk up to the counter and check out the menu, which includes their sixteen original signature coffee drinks. Even if none of the sixteen signatures speak to you, Wiggins always has a new seasonal drink menu to try. For those feeling extra picky, they’ve got over a dozen syrups to create your own coffee creation. For those who aren’t coffee drinkers, try their matcha, chai, or other teas.Â
Feeling peckish? Grab a little something from their baked goods display, whether that’s a muffin, donut hole, or savory scone, courtesy of their local bakery partners. After you’ve placed your order, take a look at their cute merch for a little something to take on the road, like a sticker or coffee coozie. Once you’ve got your drink in hand, head back to your seat to have a nice sip and chat. For those riding solo, stay awhile and read a book (or pick one out at the Kenyon College Bookstore) or get some work done with their free Wi-Fi. If you weren’t able to get yourself a seat, take a step outside and walk around Kenyon College’s gorgeous campus as you sip on your delicious drink. Once you’ve had one drink there, you’ll have to go back to try them all. Â
